Tips

You should discuss the dismissal or termination first in person and then send this confirming letter. Don't prolong the pain by beating around the bush. Leave no doubt in the reader's mind about the meaning of your letter, but keep it as positive as possible. Be sure to explain the reasons for termination clearly.
