"I purchased WordCommand for my daughter, a high school junior who is just about to take her SAT test for the second time. After she took the PSAT last year, we determined that her weakest area was in vocabulary, and so I searched the Web for a vocabulary program to purchase. That's how I discovered WordCommand, which seemed to be just what we were looking for.
I [am writing] to let you know how pleased I am with WordCommand. My daughter works with it on her own without any urging from me, and since we've received the program (about a month), she has mastered about 250 new words. We really like the quiz feature (the audio responses to correct answers are hilarious, especially the first time you hear them); the way you mark the words with the little mortarboard when they are mastered challenges my daughter to keep trying until she knows the words well, and the flash cards are very helpful when she has trouble with certain words.
I also think the screen saver is an inspired idea. It helps my daughter (and even her visiting friends) to absorb new words and definitions without even trying, just by passing by the computer or being in the same room while the screen saver runs. One young man visiting our house surprised himself by using a word in conversation that he had picked up from the screen saver while he played cards near the computer. The voice pronunciation feature is also a good touch because it will ensure that all the words my daughter learns she will pronounce correctly.
I definitely think WordCommand will improve my daughter's SAT scores by at least 100 to 150 points, which will help her to get admitted to the college of her choice. And knowing 1000 of the most important words will be very useful to her while attending college and in her career afterward. I have already recommended your program to several of my friends.

"I would rate the software as the best educational program I have ever seen. I am not a great fan of most educational software, especially "edutainment," as most are fluff with little substance. Learning is not an arcade game. The greatest value of your software is the testing mode. I also like the screen saver.
