"There's no better tool for finding rhymes than WriteExpress Rhymer...it's the depth of this little program that impressed us the most."

Maximum PC Magazine

"Great product. I write songs, and the cost of the WriteExpress Rhymer was justified within the first 5 minutes of use. Thanks."

Use our rhyming dictionary with Microsoft Word

Rhymer installs on the Add-Ins tab of Microsoft Word 2007 and the Tools Menu of Word 2003, 2002, 2000, 97, and Word 7.0. You can insert rhyming words directly into your document. If you have a Macintosh or a different Windows word processor, you can still run the program by itself and copy and paste words into your document.

Last syllable rhymes (timber/harbor)
Words with last syllable rhymes have the same sounds in the last syllable. For example, threw/breakthrough, humanity/zesty, and pleat/complete.

Double rhymes (conviction/prediction)
Words with double rhyme have the same vowel sound and following consonant sounds in the second-to-last syllable, and the same sounds in the final syllables. For example, walking/talking, humming/coming, and navigator/waiter.

Triple rhymes (frightening/brightening)
Words with triple rhyme have the same vowel sound and following consonant sounds in the third-to-last syllable, and the same sounds in the remaining syllables. For example, antelope/cantaloupe and greenery/scenery.

Beginning rhymes (physics/fizzle)
Words with beginning rhyme have the same initial consonant sounds and the same first vowel sound, as in scenery/cedar.

First syllable rhymes (carrot/caring)
Words with first syllable rhyme have the same sounds in the first syllable. For example, fairground/ferryboat.
