Write Your Letter Step-by-Step
State your intention directly. It is not necessary, but you may wish to explain the reason for canceling.
Give enough information such as an account number, membership number, or data from a mailing label so there will be no question about who is canceling what.
If necessary, ask for a refund for the unused portion of the subscription or membership or inform the reader how you will pay the remainder of what you owe.
